Nora(Robirt in Japanese) is an assistant robot appearing prominantly and exclusively in the '03 Atomu series. His purpose in the series is unclear but it seems that he has taken Jump's place from the last series, although for the characters within the show he is a multipurpose robotic assistant.

Nora is a robot based on a design made by Dr. Tenma during his reign as Science Minister. He was Tobio's only friend(similar to Jump)because Tenma was always at the Ministry on business. After the death of Tobio, creation of Astro, and exile of Tenma, Nora somehow came into Ochanomizu's posession(again, similar to Jump). Throughout the series he does cleaning and sorting work at Ochanomizu's office and home and plays no vital story part. other robots of his design and of similar design can be scene everywhere all throughout the city doing menial tasks such as construction, etc. He is likely based on Star Wars' R2-D2 due to their similar shapes and programing.

[edit] Name

In the Japanese version he has the masculine name Robirt but for reasons unknown it was changed to Nora when brought to english audiences. this suggests that he is female and his english voice portrayal gives him a tone of ambiguous gender. But honestly, who cares he was a bit character really...
